Well, seeing as I don't talk with you as much as I like to...Some of you may just Ignore this... But, Those who care... Read on!!

Well, I work at a restaurant and I have been there for nearly 28 months. Well, tonight I picked up a shift from my co-worker so he could have X-mas Dinner with his family. It was a hosting shift(In case you don't know, a host is that person who greets you when you come in the door of a restaurant). Well, I was working and it was around 6:30 pm and a group of people came in. So, I sat them, as it is my job. But, when I came back there was a customer I knew who had stopped by and was talking to my manager. When I came back, the customer handed me a envelope and said it was for me. So, I open it... and It is a BEAUTIFUL X-mas card and $10 inside. She went on saying how great of a job I was doing and how polite/kind I am. Shortly after she left, My manager went on a grumbling and pissed off rant. He apparently was complaining that he did so much for them and he didn't get a card. He was happy and proud of me, but was annoyed after so much work he did that he got nothing! I guess it is the little things in life that some people notice more than the big.
